The Daily Things

I have decided there are some things I need to make a commitment to execute daily. The optimal word here is commit! I have been thinking about this and have decided that I can change things and not have it be all perfect right off the bat.....so here they are so far.
1. Exercise every day in some way.
If possible, do the treadmill and weights, if not enough time or too many commitments at least do some crunches....something is better than nothing.
2. Make at least one good food choice each day.....make a sacrifice from what I really want at least once a day, because what I really will probably be something not so good for me. If I can make more than one, then knock myself out!
3. No simple carbs after 4pm.
This helps with the bloating and puts me in a better situtation to have a flat belly in the AM. (Another post in the future, The Flat Belly Diet book I almost bought).
4. Write down what I eat every day.
When I have done Weight Watchers (several times over the years) I was the most successful when I wrote down, honestly (that's the key word there) what I ate each day so I feel it's important that I do this.

So this is all I can think of right now......I have allowed myself to make this blog a process. I was delaying the process because I wanted it all to be perfect. But I am giving myself permission to do this in steps as the good ideas come to me.

Today's food list:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal
Skinny caramel latte from Starbucks
Lunch: Veggie chili 1 cup. Boca crumbles and beans and tomatoes
Snack: hand full of edamame
Dinner: lowfat/low cal caesar salad
fat free yogurt from WalMart with sweetner and granola

So pretty good with the food today.
